A Little Christmas Wrapping

Hello All.  Today, I made a Wrap for my favorite "go to" gift container.  I love these little 3" x 2" tin containers.  They are food safe and can house anything from candy to bath products.  I used Echo Park paper and tags to create the wrap for this container.  I then used chiffon green ribbon and red rick rack to create the sealing ribbon and bow.  I embellished this with a Country Fresh 1/2" red burlap covered button.
When you think of Christmas wrapping, this is as simple and inexpensive as you can get.  These containers sell for $1.00  in qtys greater than 10…you cannot buy gift bags less than that.  What better to embellish with than some Pinque Peacock Products?

Are you Ready to See these products IN ACTION?

I used my October New Release Products, two of the small layer garden beauties, and created a page marker for a sketch book.  I chose the book because of the beautiful fall colors.  I used the yellow and green with burlap small layered garden beauties layered with some snipped burlap ribbon flowers positioned on a burlap ribbon.  I used a sticked gold button and burlap ribbon as the closure.  I think that first, this would make a great embellishment as the ribbon for the gift wrap to give this as a gift.  Since this is adjustable, you can continue to use it to mark the page as you progress in your work.  I just love how the layered garden beauties work with this project.!

After hopping, be  sure to visit the Pinque Peacock Shop on FB to  order these items (and many others) to use on your very own projects!

Pinque Peacock Design Team Post.

Today, I made a card using a multicolored Elegant Floral from Pinque Peacock.  I started with an almost vintage paper, then added mattes in coordinating colors.  I added a little "bling" with some bling mesh and gemstones.  I used the Elegant Floral underneath a rosette made also from coordinating papers.

Fall Place Setting...

Today, I did a fall project, as I am already preparing for the Autumn holidays.  I did a paper strip pumpkin place card holder.  I stripped a 12x 12 piece of paper into 8" x 1/2" strips, secured them end to end with two brads, then spread the strips.  I created a hemp string stem, then added 3 Pinque Peacock Felt Poppers, in Fall colors, with coordinating PP buttons, along with paper leaves to the stem.  I added a round paper clip behind the flowers to hold the place card.  What an awesomely easy way to add some crafty fall stuff to your holiday table!

Let's alter something today, shall we?

♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

So, today, I have chosen to alter something.  Something that isn't usually altered-oh my!  I have taken two matching swirl glass bead stick pins I have from Pinque Peacock…and have ….well….turned them into jewelry.  I took the two stickpins, and wire wrapped them upside down.  I then used butterfly and flower charms and coordinating beads to join them to a 3-1 earring joiner with earring hooks.  I have to say, for a non-beader, this is a great way to make jewelry quickly…!  I love how they turned out!

That girl with the ponytail….she just drives me insane!….

…old school baby…..

Straighten the hair, curl the hair, crimp the hair, blow out the hair….we ALL go to the ponytail when we can get what we want.  Let’s make it stylish and sexy, shall we?  Let’s upscycle one of those much hated slapbands, shall we?  Let’s cover it with our fabric of choice (mine is denim).  It’s so easy to do that.
Then, let’s take our ponytail….and slap the hell out of that slapband around it.  When it places, find your middle point….(It will not be the middle point on the band when straight).  I placed a denim fabric popper in the middle, and placed, on each side, a coffee filter fabric rose.    and a glitter blast!  When “slapped” this looks awesome….try it…you’ll like it!

Happy Crafting and enjoy that Peacock fun!
