April 30th....and Felicity Makes 10!! Surprise Baby Shower Blog Hop!

Welcome to and Felicity makes 10!!!! What a great family and what a blessing. Today we are having a surprise baby shower for Shawnee as a gift to her precious new arrival!

We are all blessed in various ways in knowing Shawnee and this is our gift to you!!! We have each made a two (2)-page 12x12 layout for you to post various things to get you started on a scrapbook just for Felicity! We have each taken our own spin on babies and hope you enjoy our hop of loving your new baby as Felicity makes 10!!!!

For my layout for Felicity, I decided to go whimsically cute and use a play on the traditional reference to babies as “sweet peas”  My background pink and green plaid is from my private stash of paper.  All the greens were pulled from “The Cotton Blossom Stack” by DCVW.  I created 10 garden pea pods using a great .svg cut file I found on a SCAL forum.  I modified the size to fit my layout.  Each pod contains one large “pea” flanked on each side by two smaller peas. The middle pea is a background green with a cutout frame.  The intention of this layout is to frame pictures of Felicity with each of her siblings, otherwise known as her “pea”’ps….get it….LOL… the vines are courtesy of the Cindy Loo cartridge, and the font used for the title was Alphalicious Short Stack.  Shawnee, I hope you like the design I made for the capturing of your new arrival with the rest of her siblings.  I hope that I have given you a design for moments that you will cherish forever!  It was a pleasure and so much fun doing this for you!
