Her Craft Kre8tions DT-Sunflowers and Pumpkins

Its pumpkins and sunflowers time!!! What a great representative of fall. The Design Team's challenge this month was to choose a color - orange or yellow??? With that being said, they had no idea why they were even being asked what color had to do with their project ... hee hee!!! They then each got a file to think outside of the box with the color. HMMMM, guess its time for the reveal, huh???

For my project, I created a banner.  I have so many projects to do for Halloween, I needed a jumpstart and some motivation.  I live in Florida, and as much as I love Autumn decorations, we have about a week that applies.  So I made a Halloween banner.  I separated the shadow layer, the image layer and the circle layer and cut each at about 4” diameter in the middle.  The shadow was cut in black, the petal overlay in 2 different orange colors and the center in a Halloween print.  After they were glued together, I used eyelets on each side and ribbon to tie them together. 

 I hope you enjoyed our little hop for this month. With feature attractions, The Design Team will be asked to do a project with the "theme" "Come Sit a Spell" for October 16, 2012. So, with that being said, mark your calendars and plan to "sit a spell" to see how we think outside of the chair for next month.
